The Business Development team has a defined responsibility to support the Raisin business by nurturing and developing relationships with banks and building societies. Our team engages with potential partners, analyses the commercial opportunity and ultimately bring these relationships to one of our customer-facing platforms.
Your Responsibilities
  • Arranging and attending meetings with prospective partners mainly in London, but also across the UK.
  • Providing support in outreach activities and establishing relationships within prospective partner organisations.
  • Creating and delivering compelling partner-focused collateral (including presentations, demonstrations and commercial proposals) and completing necessary follow-up activity.
  • Co-ordinating official responses to information requests from banks.
  • Working closely with our Onboarding, Live Bank, Marketing, and Product teams plus participating in workshops and internal meetings with Raisin’s wider European teams.
Your Profile
  • Bachelors degree (finance-related is preferred) and at least 4 years professional experience in a similar field, ideally in the financial sector, at a FinTech or a comparable company
  • You enjoy and are experienced in communication with external and internal stakeholders. 
  • Basic understanding of the UK deposit / retail banking market.
  • You are willing to familiarize yourself with our Operational and IT applications to be able to provide profound information to the potential partners during the Sales and Onboarding process.
  • Excellent organizational skills. Project Management experience a plus.
  • Willing to travel for meetings within the UK and across Europe.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
