Your Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery cycle, from quarterly planning to design, implementation, QA, and delivery, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality outcomes.

  • Cultivate an inspiring environment characterized by open communication and a culture of trust, fostering collaboration and innovation within the team.

  • Proactively identify and address impediments and risks, offering timely solutions and mitigation plans to ensure project success.

  • Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and Tech Lead, facilitating strategic planning and alignment with team objectives.

  • Drive the OKR process for the team, from objective communication to defining key results, fostering team commitment and aligning individual targets with team goals.

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard engineers, nurturing their growth and development in alignment with the company's objectives.

  • Craft individual development plans for team members, identifying training opportunities and providing ongoing coaching and support.

  • Recognize and reward high performance, establishing and maintaining strong performance standards for direct reports.

Your Profile
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership/people management experience.

  • Strong hands-on experience (minimum 5 years) as a Mobile Application Engineer.

  • Proficient in managing software projects collaboratively, with a focus on successful delivery.

  • Comfortable engaging in open code and architecture discussions.

  • Strong experience with React Native, including React Hooks, Redux, and TypeScript.

  • Solid practical knowledge in app integration and delivery lifecycle, with experience in code signing and app store reviews. Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (e.g., Fastlane) is a plus.

  • Fundamental experience in consuming RESTful APIs and building React Native UI components. Knowledge of building native modules in Android and iOS is advantageous.

  • Fluency in English; German-language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
