As part of our growth, Raisin is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Procurement to join our global Finance team at Raisin GmbH. The position reports to the Vice President of Finance.

The Head of Procurement is leading and overseeing Raisin's global procurement strategy in alignment with the business objectives while complying with policies and regulations and adhering to Raisin's high audit, compliance and risk management standards. This individual will build and lead a procurement team and play a critical role in optimizing Raisin's procurement processes to drive efficiency, cost savings, and value across the organization. The Head of Procurement will be responsible for creating successful vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and implementing best practices to support Raisin's mission. The role will involve frequent interaction and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
Procurement Strategy and Operations
  • Develop and implement a procurement strategy that aligns with Raisin ́s financial goals and operational needs.
  • Establish procurement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to ensure accountability and efficiency.
Vendor Management
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors that align with Raisin's quality and cost objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing.
  • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Cost Management and Negotiations
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve the best terms in regards to cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Identify market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Compliance and Risk Management
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with suppliers and procurement processes.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Communicate procurement performance and key metrics to the VP of Finance and other stakeholders.
Technology and Innovation
  • Leverage procurement technologies to automate processes, improve transparency, and enhance decision-making.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce innovative procurement practices to the organization.
Your Profile
Education and Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration.
  • Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g. “CIPS” - Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) is a plus.
  • 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably within a fast-paced, innovative industry (e.g. SaaS, platform
  • business models etc.), experience working for a regulated financial institution would be a plus.
  • Experience in building and leading teams.
Skills
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision making skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and financials tools (e.g. NetSuite as leading ERP system).
  • Robust ability to take on a management role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage vendor and internal relationships effectively.
  • Fluent English.
  • Team player with international experience.
  • Ability to drive projects to completion successfully self independently.
  • Excellent service and hands-on mentality.
  • Ability to ask result oriented questions, high sense of responsibility and accountability.
  • High quality working results; ability to focus on what is important (prioritization).
  • Excellent understanding of general business processes.
