This position reports to the UK Chief of Staff, who is responsible for leading complex strategic projects and ensuring the strategic alignment of UK and European business teams while directly supporting the CEO.
In this role as a strategy analyst, you will be involved in orchestrating and executing multifaceted projects across various departments. You will have significant visibility within the organisation, working closely with senior leadership. With initiatives impacting every part of the organisation, you will have a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive insights into our business and contribute to high-level strategic projects.
Your Responsibilities
As a Junior Strategy Manager (UK), you will play a pivotal role in supporting key initiatives within our rapidly growing UK business. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of our strategic projects.
Project Management- Support the UK Chief of Staff and senior management in delivering major change initiative or large-scale projects by assisting the project management office or taking the lead in individual work-stream areas.
- Manage minor change initiatives working with other departments or business leads to improve our services.
- Develop the skills and experience to eventually lead projects independently.
Strategic Planning & Governance- Prepare for senior management meetings and support governance processes around these meetings.
- Ensure alignment of business unit strategies with the overall company strategy and priorities.
- Learn and apply the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) goal-setting framework, supporting teams in setting and tracking their OKRs.
- Track agreed actions and owners across these meetings, and follow up to ensure completion.
Presentation Preparation- Prepare high-quality presentations for senior management, stakeholders, and strategy meetings.
- Translate complex data and insights into clear, concise, and visually appealing presentations.
- Ensure presentations effectively communicate strategic recommendations and key findings.
- Deliver improvements to the overall governance and reporting process.
Market Research- Gather and analyse data from multiple sources to understand market trends, competitor performance, and internal metrics.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify opportunities and potential threats as and when required.
Data Analysis- Design and maintain dashboards with key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the business and various departments.
- Analyse complex data from various sources as well as company performance to support management decision-making processes.
- Own and manage the overall Looker MI and reporting suite for UK Senior Management to aid in commercial decision making.
