As a Junior Incident Manager, you will be part of our dedicated Incident Management team that works at the intersection of Customer Service, Operations, Tech, and Product. Our mission is to ensure stable and trustworthy services for our customers across Europe by swiftly resolving operational and technical incidents with a customer-first mindset.

Your Responsibilities
  • Support the coordination of incidents, including documentation, research, and communication
  • Step by step, grow into taking full ownership of incidents – from managing stakeholder communication to tracking follow-ups
  • Draft incident status updates for internal stakeholders using templates and team input
  • Ensure transparent and timely communication with customers during impactful incidents
  • Maintain incident trackers and contribute to process improvements
  • Participate in post-incident reviews (post-mortems), sharing learnings and helping to implement improvements
  • Keep customer impact front and center in all documentation
  • Proactively support your teammates and contribute to a constructive, feedback-oriented team culture
Your Profile
  • Initial experience in customer service, operations, or technical environments – banking background is a plus but not a must
  • Proactive and curious mindset – you like digging into root causes and finding better ways of doing things
  • Resilience and flexibility – you stay calm and solution-oriented even when things are uncertain
  • Strong communicator and team player, comfortable working independently in a remote-first setup
  • Excellent written English skills; German or another European language is a plus
  • Confident using digital tools like Google Workspace, Jira, and Zendesk
  • Open to feedback and eager to learn – you're not afraid to ask questions when something is unclear
